From the start, CEI has carried out its work under three main headings, corresponding to the aims of the Chamber’s work. These are as follows.

The CEI has as its first aim the promotion of the profession of property expert and thus to ensure that being a Member of the CEI is synonymous with competence and strict adherence to ethical and professional rules. The CEI ensures that its Members, as real estate professionals, offer their knowledge and skills to those who want a valuation and to discover the development possibilities of their property. Experts are also available to the authorities and the judiciary when they need an expert judicial or extra-judicial valuation.
The second aim of the CEI is to promote the training and education of property valuation experts, standardisation of their valuation methods and their recognition in the areas where they are applied. It also aims to organise regular seminars for ongoing training with the participation of renowned speakers.
The third objective of the Chamber is to act as a reference body for property expertise through cooperation with other bodies active in the real estate world, and to make available its experience and know-how to the authorities.
